This is totally not meant to be taken seriously. I thought it was pretty funny, and, in many ways, (minus the insults), fairly accurate.

Your result for The Brutally Honest Personality Test...

Loner - ISFP

33% Extraversion, 33% Intuition, 40% Thinking, 20% Judging

Ahh...the sweet serenity. The utter perfection of all creation. The wondrous beauty of nature. The sweet sparrow singing along in the great orchestra we call life...

WHAT THE HELL IS WRONG WITH YOU? You're the type of person people always love to mock because they don't believe there's anyone ACTUALLY like you.

Do realise that you ostracise people with your behaviour or is it all subconscious? You're so quiet and reserved it's almost impossible to get to know you well, and when someone finally does, all you want to talk about is grace and beauty and harmony!

Ugh. Sure, you "genuinely care for others" and all that rubbish, but when it boils right down to the basics you take life far too seriously.

Throughout the entire test, I bet you were searching for "further clarification and hidden meaning" so that you might improve your pitiful life. And woe and behold if it betrayed your intense values system!

You need to STOP smelling the daisies. Believe it or not, logic does have a place in this world...imbecile.

I thought I was done spamming you guys today, but apparently not. This one's pretty neat though.

You Are a Lynx
You are a quiet observer of the world around you. Your wisdom comes from listening carefully.
You've always been extra sensitive and aware. And it's made it difficult for you to fit in.

You see past people's outward personas. You are able to penetrate a stranger's soul.
What you've learned about people is both beautiful and ugly. And you keep these secrets to yourself.
kittytech: (Default)
Hmm ... Maybe I have too much time on my hands right now? GRIN!!

You Are Twitter
You are energetic to the point of being hyperactive. You are the ultimate multitasker.
You don't have much of an attention span for anything. You like things short and sweet.

You can't help but let everyone know what you're doing, even if it's just what you're having for dinner.
You are big on sharing what's going on in your life. If anything, you share too much!
kittytech: (Default)
Well, it got the animal right anyway. I had to laugh at the description though. SMILE!

Your Ideal Pet is a Cat
You're both aloof, introverted, and moody.
And your friends secretly wish that you were declawed!
kittytech: (Default)
Okay, I suppose I'll take these results.

You Are a Bay
You are a blissful, peaceful person. Some might call you spiritual.
You are easy-going and tranquil. You take solace in life's sweet moments.

You are sentimental and open-hearted. You love many people, places, and things.
You try to live an enlightened life. You are benevolent, noble, and intuitive.

A week or so before Thanksgiving, I received a box from Amazon.com. In it is the gift that Bruce got for me as a combination Christmas/birthday present. Last year by this time I knew what I was getting, and he'd managed to guess what I was getting for him. This year though, he's being incredibly quiet about the whole thing.

So, just to make things interesting, and because I need something to entertain myself, have a poll. What, in your minds, do you think is in this package. And if you're one of the people who actually knows what I'm getting, feel free to vote and give me the right, (or wrong), answer. GRIN!! Be creative, I'm curious.

I've decided to post this. I plan to write an actual update, but it'll happen tomorrow hopefully since I'm about ready to go and crash. So, in the meantime, have a thingy.

Dear Santa...

Dear Santa,

This year I've been busy!

Last Sunday I pulled [livejournal.com profile] lilmissmagic71's hair (-5 points). In June I got in line at the supermarket at the same time as someone else and I didn't yield (-8 points). Last Thursday I pulled over and changed [livejournal.com profile] keao18's flat tire (15 points). Last Tuesday I turned [livejournal.com profile] twystedpixie in for littering (3 points). Last Wednesday I ruled Canada as a kind and benevolent dictator (700 points).

Overall, I've been nice (705 points). For Christmas I deserve a pony!

Sincerely,
kittytech

Thanks to [livejournal.com profile] shazza59 for this one. Interesting results. I don't follow this stuff very well, so I actually find these results very interesting. I've always said that for me, it really comes down to each individual issue rather than a particular party. So, having said that, here are my results.

Your Issue Profile: 60% Obama, 40% McCain

Truth be told, you're not really satisfied with either of the candidates.

You could vote for either of them. You are the typical coveted swing voter.

You may want to narrow yourself down to a particular set of issues in order to pick your president.

Or start looking at third party candidates. One of them might suit you better.

kittytech: (Default)
Now this one's pretty accurate.

You Are a Marble Cake

Eclectic, inventive, and peaceful.

You are never willing to accept what's "normal." You live to push the envelope.

You find it hard to make up your mind. You prefer to have everything you want, right away!

kittytech: (Default)
Now I'm hungry for Italian!!!! I agree with some of this.

You Are Spaghetti Bolognese

Compared to most people, you are well grounded and down to earth.

You have old fashioned values. Your taste tends to favor what's tried and true.

You love comfort food. Familiar situations put you at ease.

You think that the best cooking comes from your family's kitchen!

kittytech: (Default)
I totally don't agree with this one, but oh well. It's interesting anyway.

You Are An Exclamation Point
</td></tr>
<tr><td bgcolor="#FFFFFF">

You are a bundle of... well, something.

You're often a bundle of joy, passion, or drama.

You're loud, brash, and outgoing. If you think it, you say it.

Definitely not the quiet type, you really don't keep a lot to yourself.

You're lively and inspiring. People love to be around your energy.

(But they do secretly worry that you'll spill their secrets without even realizing it.)

You excel in: Public speaking

You get along best with: the Dash

Over the weekend [livejournal.com profile] masterofmusings and I were looking for something new to do. So, we both signed up for Fun Trivia and took a couple of shots at some points. I signed up for their daily trivia game by email as well. The email permits me to post links to the questions, and this gives my readers the opportunity to play as a part of my team. So, here are today's trivia questions. Have fun, and hope somebody does better than me.

Your Thinking is Concrete and Random

You are naturally inquisitive and curious.

You're excited by new ideas, and you are a true independent thinker.

You are interested in what is possible. You like the process of discovery.

You are often experimenting, challenging old ideas, and inventing new concepts.

Rules, restrictions, and limit don't really work for you.

You have to do things your own way, and you can't be bothered to explain yourself.

kittytech: (Default)
Now, this one isn't too far off. Just don't ask me any questions about geography, history, math, or science and I'll be able to give you an answer ... maybe.

You Are a Crossword Puzzle

You are well read, and you have a good head for remembering facts.

You are a wordsmith. You have a way with words, and you're very literate.

You are a mysterious person who enjoys dropping little clues every now and then.

kittytech: (Default)
Okay. I've seen this on several people's pages, so thought I'd do it too.

1. If your username isn't obvious (like your name), explain how you chose it.

2. Do you know anyone from your friends list in person? If so, who and how did you
meet?

3. What five people from your friends list would you most like to meet and why?

My answers are:

1. If your username isn't obvious (like your name), explain how you chose it.
When I created this journal I wanted to come up with something unique, and many of the names I wanted were all ready taken. So, I chose to use Taz, who is, of course, a cat.

2. Do you know anyone from your friends list in person? If so, who and how did you
meet?
Well, I went to school with [livejournal.com profile] sas_on_heels and [livejournal.com profile] snowflake_tvi. I met [livejournal.com profile] littlefroggy through [livejournal.com profile] sas_on_heels. Finally, I know [livejournal.com profile] voyagerjc because I'm married to the man. I met [livejournal.com profile] puppybraille very briefly in the press room at the 2004 ACB Convention. And, I used to go skiing with [livejournal.com profile] chanter_greenie.

3. What five people from your friends list would you most like to meet and why?
Well, let's see. I think I'd really like to meet [livejournal.com profile] brucetola because I've seen him around on many of the same lists that I'm on, and because he sounds like a really great guy. I think it'd be neat to meet [livejournal.com profile] imafarmgirl and [livejournal.com profile] pawpower4me because they're both not afraid to say what's on their minds and I think we could have some really interesting discussions. I'd like to meet [livejournal.com profile] johnmill79 because I feel like I all ready know you from reading you since the beginning. Finally, I just realized today that I might have known [livejournal.com profile] michael_m a little bit from many years back and would love to find out if he's the guy I think he is.
kittytech: (Default)
I got this off of another page and thought it was kind of a neat, new survey. Enjoy.

What's your gender?
Female

How old are you?
Thirty, and my brain seems to know it

How long have you been blogging?
Officially it's been about 18 months. However, I originally created my blogger page back in, um, 2005 I think.

How much time do you spend blogging each week?
Well, some would say too much, some would say not enough, so I guess it depends on who you ask. Oh wait, they were asking me. Hmm, maybe 2-3 hours, depending on what I'm writing about.

How many people visit your site each day?
I don't know. I don't have any stat counter or anything, and I probably have people reading that I don't even know about, or maybe not? SMILE!

Do you want more readers?
I'm always looking for new blood, but that also doesn't mean that I don't appreciate my current readers.

If you answered 'yes' to the previous question, how many daily readers would you be satisfied with?
I don't know. It's not that I'm unsatisfied now, I just love the chance to interact with others so I'm not going to give a number.

Have you met new people through blogging which you've connected with offline?
Um, not really. I met one reader very briefly a few years ago before I started writing, and I've known some of my readers for years. I've chatted with others through MSN, but I don't think I've actually met someone in person because of my blogging.

Why did you start blogging?
I created my blogger place originally because I saw someone else's blog and thought it was kind of neat. I didn't know anyone else who was doing it back then though, so I never kept it up. Later on though, I started reading other peoples blogs and saw how much fun people were having so decided to get back into it again.

Why do you keep blogging?
I've kept up with it because, as I said before, I love the feedback, and it gives me the chance to blow off steam sometimes, organize my thoughts, or just talk about whatever's on my mind at any given time.

If you've ever stopped blogging for a long period of time, or abandoned a blog, why did you?
Well, I already talked about the time I stopped. However, I've actually abandoned two blogs before ending up on LJ. My Blogger page wasn't giving me a lot of the features I wanted, and at the time people were starting to get locked out because of the graphical verification thing. I switched over to Word Press then and was there for about 6 months. I left there for two reasons; one was because I discovered that I was in direct violation of their user agreement because I was posting music files in my entries instead of posting links to the files, and second, by this time, I'd started reading a lot of people who were here on LJ and was really happy with the service. I've been here more than six months now. I think That's a record for me.

Has blogging changed your relationships with friends and family? if so, how?
I'd like to think it's changed things for the better. I feel like I've made more connections with people, and have gotten to know some people that I wouldn't have gotten to know otherwise. I think that in many ways people are more open in their writing than they are when speaking, and I'm no exception to that. I've written about things that I probably wouldn't talk about, and I think it's because, somehow, I feel safer writing than I do talking. Blogging has definitely been a way for me to show who I am in a much more personal way than on an email list for example, where many times things that I've said have come out sounding bitchy or rude, when I most definitely don't mean them to come out that way. I think that's the one bad thing about writing since it's much harder to show how something is meant to sound.

Describe your biggest blogging regret or triumph:
Hmm. I honestly can't think of anything at the moment but I'm sure there's something…

Is blogging an emotional activity for you? if so, how?
I think I've learned a lot about myself through writing on a semi-regular basis, even if it's that I need to get a life. SMILE! It's even more enjoyable though to read about the triumphs or problems of my readers though, and I really enjoy becoming a part of their lives in some way, and being able to maybe feel what they're feeling. That probably sounds really corny, but I don't really know how else to explain it.
