Just Testing

I'm just sort of playing with LJ a little bit. I'm attempting to set the posting date for tomorrow and I want to see if it's going to show up right away with tomorrow's date or if it'll somehow hold the entry until tomorrow at the time I specified. I guess we're about to find out.

Well, your entry posted right away, and I found it kind of shocking to see a post so far ahead in the future, cause if anything, I don't have any friends on my flist who live in timezones that are something like 11 hours ahead of me. If anything, where I am is at the top of the list, and everybody else on my flist lives 1, 2, or 3 hours behind me! But thanks for letting me know that it doesn't wait to post until tomorrrow, as I had considered doing something like this for New Years Eve, and I now know that such a future delivery post won't exactly work! Oh well, it might work if oh say I wait and post it like on the 30th. of December and it's the last thing I post before going off to New York or something, but then, that would mean that I'd have to also do things like post my entry on the 30th. of December on the 29th. and make sure that the entry I post on the 29th. is early enough in the day, that I won't be tricking anyboddy with such belated posts coming earlier than expected! And the reason why I'll have to do this is because I'll be out of town on New Years Eve and as I'm sure you're already aware, I'll be with people who frown at LJ unfortunately! Yet though, getting to spend New Years in NY with my boyfriend will definitely be an oh so special treat to look forward to nonetheless, and I can't wait!
