Update

Well, I said that I probably wasn't going to update this very often, but I've got a couple of things that I'm trying, so figured I'd add another entry. First, I finally figured out how to change the layout of my entries. I didn't like the fact that there was no way to jump from entry to entry, and I found the white background to be just too painful since I'm light-sensitive. So, I changed those two settings.

Second, and probably more importantly, I downloaded a program that I'm testing for Jim that will allow him to post entries without having to go to the Live journal site. So far the program is proving to be very accessible as promised, so I'm hoping it's worth it.

Since I've got this LJ account I'm trying to think of ways to use it. I'm happy with Word Press right now so don't want to switch over to this full-time, but I think it'd be kind of nice to update this thing every once in a while. Any thoughts or suggestions are definitely welcome.

In the meantime though, keep checking out my regular blog for all the goings-on in my life.

Hi,
I use a client called Semagic, you have to kinda use the Jaws cursor when in the menus, that is after pressing alt, then right or left arrowing to your choice, then down arrow. lol I hope you know what I'm saying! But it has a bunch of handy keyboard shortcut keys that you can get by pressing F1, like making links to websites, LJ cuts, and even block quotes. If I can figure it out, I"m sure anybody can. lol I'm not the smartest person in the world when it comes to computers, which you've already seen.

Anyway, I hope that helps.

The program I was playing with installs itself as something called Live Journal. It's completely accessible, but I didn't see anything about adding links and things. I should look for that because that'd be a nice thing. That's one nice thing about Word Press. they've got hotkeys that automatically add the html code, and all you have to do is fill in the blanks. I wish they'd allow replying to comments over there though. If only they could combine the best features of Word Press and live Journal they'd have a terriffic thing going!
