I Think I'm Almost Speechless!

Hi everyone. Well, I finished Harry Potter tonight. I've skipped all of the entries on my friends list that talk about the book, and I appreciate the cuts that you guys have done. I only have two things to say, and I'm not putting them behind a cut because I'm not giving anything away. First of all, just wow. Second, I feel like I've lost a good friend. I know that sounds totally crazy, but I guess the books have been such a part of me since I first started reading them two years ago and now it's over. Yes, I can reread whenever I want, but to me, the first read is always the big one since I don't know what to expect yet. So, that's it. I just can't believe it's over.

In other news, I think I've officially decided that I don't like thunder. I've been hearing it all evening, but just a couple of minutes ago there was this really big crash that sounded like it was practically right outside my window. I jumped about a mile. I think it freaks me out because I can't see it. Again, kind of crazy, but I guess that's me. SMILE! So now I think I'm going to go curl up in bed in case there's any more thunder. Maybe Taz and Cally will join me. I know Taz for sure doesn't like thunder, so I'm guessing he'll be crawling under the covers. He definitely likes that. Later everyone.

As you well know - I'm afraid of thunder, too. Guess where I was! You got it" Under the covers with my head covered with both pillows! Yikes!

Aw come on! What's a little thunder? I'm actually afraid of lightning, because a few years ago, you know what it did to my computer, VCR, and answering machine! I knew something wasn't right when I walked up to my answering machine, which was buzzing, and I was smelling smoke! And, thankfully, only the power supply and modem were zapped and easily fixable. Now, I always try and power down during a storm, as I don't want a repeat!
