Convention Registration Complete!

Well, it's now official. I submitted my online registration and payment information for the 2007 ACB convention! I even called the hotel the other day just to make sure that my reservation was still there. Paranoid? Maybe, but I just don't want to get up there and not have a room. SMILE! I'm kind of disappointed though. I used to go to Valley Fair all the time when I was a kid, and I'm going to totally miss it because it's happening the day I'll be traveling up to Minneapolis. I also thought about going to the Mall of America, but I decided to attend the Saturday morning GW-Micro session so that I can learn about some of the newer features of Window-Eyes. I also plan to attend the Saturday night welcome mixer, at least for a while. I chose chicken for my banquet choice for Friday night. I think it's really great that we get a choice this year. In past years I've bought my ticket and hoped really hard that they wouldn't be serving sea food. SMILE! So, all that's left to do now is buy my bus ticket. Nine more days and that'll be done too. I think there are at least four people on my flist who are also going to be there so this should be a lot of fun.

Anyway, gotta run so that I can get my laundry out of the dryer. I also plan to watch the million dollar Price is Right and the American Idol results. So, later everyone!

Hi Caroline. Don't believe I've ever talked to you but you're on my friends page. I think that was my cousin's doing. I was just replying and saying hi. That's cool that you're going to the convention. I was supposed to go to Minneapolis myself later in the summer for a beepball tournament, but I don't think I'm going cause I don't have $1000, not for that. But that's cool, that should be fun. I've never been to the ACB convention, but I'm sure I'll go someday.

This will be my third convention, but I'd be absolutely crazy to miss it since I'm so close to Minneapolis. Well, not close, but a lot closer than a lot of people. SMILE! Yeah, John put out a call when you originally started your LJ, so I've been reading you since the beginning. SMILE!

Hey Caroline! Its amazing to me how many people are actually reading your journal and you don't even know it until they say something about it. I guess someone other than me does care something about what happens in my little life.
Yeah, you are pretty close to Minneapolis. You're in Wisconsin right? Tell me, what is the whole idea of the Wisconsin Cheeseheads. I've never been to Wisconsin, but apparently, you guys are big on cheese or there are some cheese festivals there or something to do with cheese. Was wondering if you could explain the legacy of Wisconsin cheese to me.

Man, I wanna go! But my sister's getting married on July 7th, and I doubt I could even afford to get out there for a little while. I'm sure it would be fun, and yes I will go one year!

Have some fun in Minneapolis for me! I'd love to go, but don't think that is going to happen for a couple of reasons. Man, it will be weird though. The first ACB convention I've missed in over ten years. I'll definitely miss it, Minneapolis is a fun city. And you should definitely find time to go to Mall of America at some point during the week if you have never been there before. It is a tribute to American Capitalism no Americans life is complete without witnessing!

Oh, I've been there several times. I used to go there on the weekends a lot when I was in high school because we lived so close. It's just one of those memory things that'd be nice to do, but it'd be more fun with someone else. SMILE! Too bad you won't be able to make it this year.
