I'm not sure exactly when this will get posted since I chose to use email posting and my outgoing server is being flaky this morning, but when I started this it was barely 6:00 and I'm up. Taz is better than any alarm clock because he's taken to sitting up by my pillow at extremely odd hours of the night. He sits there purring and licking me. I've briefly considered locking them out of the bedroom, but that won't work since Cally has learned how to open doors. The doors have those lever-type handles on them, and she learned very young how to jump up and use her body weight to push the handle down, which makes the door swing open. So, here I am. I went to bed at about 9:15 last night though because yesterday was another early morning.
The rest of my week should be fairly light. Today I've got to try calling some people for evaluation intake forms, and if I get two people that'll pretty much be the day. They take me between two and three hours a piece, both for the initial phone call and then to write up the report. Tomorrow I've got to do a couple more of those, and then I'm going to be taking a trip in the evening to visit a friend who just got two new 8-week-old kittens. I want to see them while they're still small because they're just way too cute. Friday morning I've got a doctor appointment, and then we'll see what the afternoon brings.
I got a phone call yesterday reminding me that Saturday afternoon I'm scheduled to do a PAC Mate GPS demo. Oops. Somehow I completely forgot about that one. I suppose I should try to find the charger for my GPS receiver, huh? SMILE!
Last night I did a couple of loads of laundry, and watched the first part of American Idol Gives Back. The second part is tonight, and it should be interesting. I still haven't really gotten into anyone this year so I haven't voted. But I thought it would be interesting to see how they do things tonight. I'm a full week behind with the Young and the Restless, so I've been trying to catch up with that so I watched the one from last Tuesday before going to bed. I fixed myself chicken Kiev and au gratin potatoes for supper and it was really good, but I was worried that the garlic was going to come back and yell at me. I got lucky though. I was recently put on a better medication for reflux, and it's been absolutely wonderful. I've had no problems eating the foods that I really like so it's been great!
Well, I suppose I should get into the shower and get ready for the day, but I thought I'd post as long as I was sitting here in front of my computer anyway. Catch everyone later.

Sounds Like You Had Quite a Lovely Day!
Date: 2007-04-25 01:32 pm (UTC)Sounds like all is well with you which is good! Kitty cats may make for lovely alarm clocks, but if there's one thing they still have yet to learn is to tell time! Our kitty cats, Jinks and Jenny are very good at getting my mom up when it's not time, and just like was it Taz? Jinks loves to give my mom a bath too! And that's cool that Cally can open doors! Joey can open cabinets too and when we lived in Louisiana, this was back when we had Lickrish and Langyap, and Langyap was very good at opening doors too! Whenever she wanted to go outside, she'd bang the cabinet doors open and shut until we let her outside! And then, when she wanted to come in, my father had installed this nifty little door knocker at the bottom of the door and she'd knock to come inside! I was only an infant at the time, so can't remember it from my own experience, but my mom thought it was adorable! One of your friends has some kittens? Aw how I love kittens! While we didn't get our calico cat, Jill till she was 7 weeks old, our kitty cats, Joey and Jinks were abandoned by their mother at 2 weeks old! We rescued them and bottle fed them for the remainder of the summer of 2001 and my golly, they were the most tiniest, cutest kittens you've ever seen! Joey and Jinks were so small, that they could fit inside my pants pocket, shoes, and even under my dresser! Now, they're so big, and especially Jinks, as he's somewhere between 15 and 20 pounds, you just couldn't imagine that they were so tiny at one time! I hope you have fun with the kittens, and good luck with your evaluations and presentations! I read an earlier post that you had posted, talking about how there was this band in the background of your presentation when you were away. I certainly hope there's no band this time and all can hear the wonderous delights of the PackMate GPX! Also on a closing note here, as I need to run along to class, I love o grotten potatoes! We typically have them with the Gorden's Garlic and Herb frozen fish! Together, they're quite Mmmm delicious! And should you like fish, you might like it too! And it's pretty easy to fix after a long day at work too! Well, I'm gonna go now, so I hope you have yet another lovely day at work, and take care.
