Questions, Questions and More Questions
Mar. 12th, 2007 08:27 pmOkay. I've seen this on several people's pages, so thought I'd do it too.
1. If your username isn't obvious (like your name), explain how you chose it.
2. Do you know anyone from your friends list in person? If so, who and how did you
meet?
3. What five people from your friends list would you most like to meet and why?
My answers are:
1. If your username isn't obvious (like your name), explain how you chose it.
When I created this journal I wanted to come up with something unique, and many of the names I wanted were all ready taken. So, I chose to use Taz, who is, of course, a cat.
2. Do you know anyone from your friends list in person? If so, who and how did you
meet?
Well, I went to school with
sas_on_heels and
snowflake_tvi. I met
littlefroggy through
sas_on_heels. Finally, I know
voyagerjc because I'm married to the man. I met
puppybraille very briefly in the press room at the 2004 ACB Convention. And, I used to go skiing with
chanter_greenie.
3. What five people from your friends list would you most like to meet and why?
Well, let's see. I think I'd really like to meet
brucetola because I've seen him around on many of the same lists that I'm on, and because he sounds like a really great guy. I think it'd be neat to meet
imafarmgirl and
pawpower4me because they're both not afraid to say what's on their minds and I think we could have some really interesting discussions. I'd like to meet
johnmill79 because I feel like I all ready know you from reading you since the beginning. Finally, I just realized today that I might have known
michael_m a little bit from many years back and would love to find out if he's the guy I think he is.

Actually it comes from years back while doing research (for a book believe it or not - that I'm still writing): I needed to make up a user name and my born and bred "given" was just so darn common! Figured: "Well I'm just going to be squizzing around for information...", thought squizzer would spell out my intention, ended up spelling it wrong (yay me) and it's everywhere I go now.
2. Funnily enough, of the entire e-mail address book that I'd originally set the journal up for in the first place, not one owns something of the like (though I'm proud to say I've set a few wheels in motion). I was, however, quite pleasantly surprised at a "befriending" by my cousin after the mass-mail to introduce it, who'd been scribbling in her journal for quite a while already.
3. Well, my friend list is pretty minute, and as I said: the address book does not have a journal (save one) - but for those that are there: they're all have-to-meets for many reasons.
