Office 2007

Since I can't be left out of the fun, I've decided to download the 60-day trial version of Office 2007. Okay, so it's not only that. I want to evaluate it since we're most likely going to have to start putting it on client machines in the next few months, and I want to see how it works before I get put into a situation where I have to start training people on it. I'm currently downloading the first of two files that will add up to a total of just over 700 megs. Cable definitely rules!!!! I'd love to upgrade to Vista too, but I honestly don't think my desktop could handle it. I barely meet the minimum system requirements, and I don't want to risk this system just yet. My laptop could handle it, but I think I'm going to wait just a little while for that, as much as I don't want to. So, maybe in a day or so I can give everyone a totally unquallified opinion of Office 2007. We'll see what happens.
Well, the first download is almost done, so I think I'm going to go and start the second one. I need to create a system restore point first too, just in case. If I decide not to buy before the end of my 60-day trial I'm probably going to lose my Office 2003 installation anyway, but I'd rather be safe than sorry. Catch you all later.
