I have the 1 GB variety of that Kingston Data Traveler with U3. Overall, they're great drives. Since it is my work drive, I've not tried putting nifty programs like WinAmp or Skype onto the drive. I should though, what the heck. I have noticed some quirks with U3, though.
First, if you look at the drive in MyComputer, it looks like there are actually 2 "removable disk" drives. One of these strictly has the U3 stuff on it and the other contains whatever files you're storing. Guess its how U3 gets kicked off and run. I've also noticed that for whatever reason, the drive letters sometimes change... the one that used to contain all the U3 stuff becomes your files, and vice versa. Also U3 is very particular about you clicking its eject button before removing the drive (this is a different thing from the "safely remove hardware" button in Windows. If you eject it without it knowing first, it squawks about it the next time you plug in your drive.
