Since I started using Live Journal back in 2006, I've always had the policy that my entries are here for people to read. However, due to the fact that some people have chosen to judge me and make false accusations without offering me a chance to explain things, I've decided that, accept for my LJIdol posts, all my entries from here on will be protected. I'm sorry for those of you who have been reading who don't have an LJ of your own. The last thing I want to do is lock you out, however at this point I don't feel that I have any other choice. If you decide that you want to get your own LJ, fine, however, please know that I use several different filters for different types of entries. Again, sorry it's come down to this, but this is the way it has to be.

It's sad to me that you had to do this. I'm seeing more and more people take this route on LJ, though. My general rule of thumb is I post things publicly that I think won't be controversial or things of a lighter nature, whereas I post a vast majority of my more personal stuff as friends only. Come to think of it, I've done three posts today, and they've all been public. I'm commencing work on a fourth, which actually very easily turn into Post No. 1 tomorrow, and that will almost certainly be friends only. I can't ever see myself completely lock my journal, as others have done. Like I said before, it's sad, but sometimes necessary, to go the friends only route. Take care.

I'm Sorry!

Hey Caroline,
Well, if I ever said anything offensive in this here journal at all, then I'm very sorry! However, I don't blame you for protecting your entries, if you've noticed, except for the 5 entries I wrote for [livejournal.com profile] therealljidol, all of my entries are either private or friends only, and it's more so to keep the parentals who aren't really in favor of my having an LJ, more so out of reading the entries, than anybody else. Although, it also keeps the strange creeps, who fake their identities online out of the LJ too. Why do you think only mutual friends can comment on all of my LJ entries, even the public ones? I think if you're unsure of who should be reading your entries, then protecting them is a good idea, cause in my personal opinion, it's sometimes, better to know who's reading about you, it allows for a better balance of trust with those around you, online and off. Well, if anything, I hope you have a nice day today, and I shall type to you later, and I shall look forward to your protected posts to come in the future!
Your Friend,
Celeste
