Believe it or not, I went through the same thing in college...I could have sworn my hearing sucked, but they said it was the low end of normal...or at least that's what I think they said...I don't remember anymore because either I got used to it or something. I still think my hearing isn't great, but I think it's a result of the many ear surguries ad a kid...I got the short end of the stick...needed tubes and had tons of ear infections...
Ah well...at least you know now. Just keep an eye on it...or an ear on it...or whatever...
