There is a combination bar seafood resteraunt four blocks from the hotel. Every weeknight between nine and eleven, they have half-pound burgers for two bucks. They do request you buy a drink, since you are getting a really good deal, but iced tea counts as a drink. Once I have a better feel for what things are on which nights, I may try to organize a get together there, since the food is so cheap, people could have dinner using the burger deal. Once I know if the bar can reserve some tables, I'll post and see if people would be interested. It may be people won't want to leave the hotel, and I understand taht as well, however, the talk to the place I have in mind is a straight line, and the weather can be hot, yet pleasant at night.
