It's My Life

I have known since my earliest childhood that I wanted to be an organ donor and my ID card also has the organ donation stickers. When Eilish had her first heart surgery and I joined a CHD email list, some of the stories I read were so heartbreaking, kids waiting forever on the transplant lists for hearts, some kids dying before transplants were done, operations where valves were replaced, etc. I looked up this book on NLSBARD and realized why it wasn't on my TBD list--I cannot abide the narrator; I just can't deal with her particularly reading fiction, so I'll keep looking for it on Bookshare, or I'll see if NLS has it in Web Braille because the story sounds fascinating, but that narrator...ugh! Yeah, and I know I'm in a minority of my own about her, but I can't help it. However, I have already told my whole family that if I die and they don't donate my organs, their lives will be haunted by me. :)
