I have one of these that my mom got me but i am afraid to use it because I usually use two oven mitts, and I am afraid this rather thin material compared to my bulky oven mitts will not keep the heat out. I sometimes use the oven to make blasted chicken which means the oven is at a temperature as high as 475 degrees. How is it for handling high heat?
