Unfortunately, I don't even remember what brand it is. It was a Christmas present several years ago, and it sat unused for some time because I was afraid of the blades. It's really very blind-friendly though as long as you're careful with the disk that has the blades. You choose the cutting method by the way the disk goes into the machine. There is only one button, one way is on and the other way is pulse. And, instead of having a food schute, everything goes down into a container that can be removed. Oh, and it's got a safety feature where if the container and lid aren't quite on right it won't turn on. Someone showed me how to work it a couple of months back and now I love it.
