Haha, I'm happy to be of assistance. I actually wound up combining three suggestions, and the dryer sheet was one of them. I'm not sure which part worked the best, but I finally was able to get it clean. I filled the crock with soapy water, added some baking soda and a dryer sheet, and cooked it on high for like...an hour, maybe? Upon removing the crock very carefully and setting it in the sink, I ran some cold water in it, and it was a breeze to clean. I wish you luck, and that cheesy chicken sounds yummy. We're having leftover slow cooker Italian beef stew tonight. Yum.
