A Productive Day

Hey everyone. Well, today turned out to be a pretty good one. I went out
to work with someone on using JAWS. My plan was to take a cab from her
place, go downtown, and hit the bank and Walgreens. That actually worked
out really well, but I ended up getting some grocery items from Walgreens
and they were too heavy for me to carry. I had planned to take the bus back
here when I was done, (construction sites permitting), but because the bags
were so heavy I ended up calling a cab to come home. I got back here at
about 1:00 which is right where I'd hoped to be. I was supposed to do a
K-NFB Reader demo at 2:00, and I was actually already to go when I found out
that the lady had cancelled. I guess now I know what happens when I don't
check my work email. SMILE!

My evening plans were to do laundry, run the vacuum around a bit, and run
the dishwasher. Because of this cancelled appointment though, I was able to
start my laundry early. I put my loads in the washers and came back in here
to do some work. I've been working around the laundry schedule for the
afternoon, but I've officially turned off my business phone for the evening
so I'm now done. The clothes are on their second trip through the dryers
since the machines in this building don't do a very fast job of drying, so
once those are done in about 20 minutes I can move on to other things.

Tomorrow I get to go on a major road trip. I'm doing a PAC Mate demo at
about 9:00, then going to do a general Adaptive Technology exhibit table,
and then do a bit of K-NFB Reader training. I'll be leaving here at 8:00,
and I imagine I won't be back home until around 4:00. I really like days
like that where I have a specific plan for what's going to be happening.

So, that's my news for the day. I'll come back later if I think of anything
else. For now though, I think it's time to get some food. Later.

Final Thoughts for Tuesday

Hey everyone. Well, I really should be in bed, but obviously I'm not. I'm
just kind of trying to wind down so that I can sleep. Taz and Cally are
more than ready, and I'm sure that once I actually fully crawl into bed I'll
be ready too.

Not too much is really new. I spent the evening chatting with a couple of
people on MSN Messenger, talked on the phone, and just puttered around on
the computer. Of course, I did vacuum the carpet and gave the litter box a
complete litter change. I also cleaned out my fridge a little bit so that
should help a little and give me more room. I've got one more 6-pack of
water that I'd like to be able to fit in, but I don't know if that's going
to happen.

Anyway, I know this update is pretty pointless, but if it helps me to get in
the mood for sleep I'll take it. So, I think that's it for now. Later
