I used to do those mailing lists, but I found I couldn't really do it anymore because many of those people seemed like know-it-alls! Like you said, if someone like me, still a relative newbie in technology, asked what was perceived to be a silly question, they wouldn't hesitate to chop them to bits. So now I just filter any questions I might have through a friend who can take the flack for me. lol
And another point, I think that Blind Cool Tech podcast is cool! And I wouldn't have found it accept through your blog, so thanks. I love listening to those traveling shows while at work, takes me out of there for a bit.
