That really is a horrible experience! Both my cousin and I said that they seem to be less and less helpful on trains these days. They just left me at the bottom of the stairs when I was to board, I had to get on, mosey around a bit and find my own seat. And I was very fortunate, because a passenger across from me immediately took to helping me with what I need. I've had a bad experience with those attendants too, a lady kept talking to me like I was 5, calling me sweetie and telling me I'd better hurry up and eat before my food got cold! Yeah, people, what can I say? I hope your trip back goes better than that. Oh, and that blanket thing would have been the last straw, somebody might have gotten their nose broken! Good job to avoid just losing it.
