In addition to filing the complaint, I would also consider insisting on a conversation with the head of the Neurology department. If that is refused (or probably just ignored outright), demand to speak with the director of the entire hospital. If this doesn't happen, just tell 'em you're going to take it public, write your insurance company, contact the state's Attorney General, etc. Usually, by this point, I find people start listening to me! Most people don't really wanna do the right things, but they also don't want any trouble or the possibility of harm coming to their career, reputation, etc.
