Profile Updates

Hey everyone. Well, because of the move and all the other changes lately, I decided that it was time to update my profile a bit. Most things have stayed the same, but I changed my little "about me" blurb to reflect my lack of work, and stuff like that. The one thing that may or may not be exciting though that I wanted to mention is that I set things up so that those of you who are on my friends list can send me text messages. This is only available to people on my friends list because I don't want a lot of spammish messages, but I thought it might be kind of a neat thing to try. So, if you go to my profile page, down in the instant messaging section is a link for sending a text message. Just write in the box, click send, and it'll go right to my phone. Personally, I'm really excited about this, so feel free to give it a try.

If you go to your profile page and choose edit, there's a section where you can pick from over 100 different cell providers, and then you enter your phone number and decide who you want to be able to send you messages. Apparently it's a newer thing in the profile because I don't remember it. With the large number of providers, I assume that it's not just limited to the US.
