Keyboards, Songs and Parties

Over the last couple of weeks I've been going through my 100 plus gigs of music that I have on my hard drive just to see what all I've got and to clear out duplicates. Several years back I created a mix of songs that, for lack of inspiration I'll call Songs with a Purpose. These are songs like Billie Gillman's One Voice or Oklahoma, David Ball's Private Andrew Malone, Rascal Flats Skin, and Clay Walker's Chain of Love just to name a few. Okay, so I'm a big fan of Country; don't knock it till you've tried it. SMILE! Anyway, I love songs like those that tell a story, or actually say something to the listener. They're the kind of songs that, when they're over, make you stop to think. I'm always looking for more to add to my collection, so if you know of any I'd love to know the titles so I can go on a song search. There are just days that I like to listen to that stuff. Does that sound totally dumb?

Finally, tomorrow is PARTY DAY!!!!! Okay, so I've got to attend a meeting first, but then I'm going to have some fun. Unfortunately, this nasty heat that we've been having isn't supposed to be all that much better tomorrow and on top of all that they're now talking about storms.

Speaking of weather I just thought of a fourth thing to talk about tonight. On my way home today in the transit van the driver was talking to the other passenger about what people in other parts of the US were dealing with for weather. It sounds like there's higher than normal temperatures pretty much across the map, but some people are lucky enough not to have the humidity. I'm reminded of last year when I went to Vegas. I left the air port and it was like a huge wall of heat smacked me in the face when I got away from the building. The difference is, this was a dry heat. Here, I walk out, and the huge wall of heat hits me, but at the same time I'm also getting socked with water, and it's no warm comfortable shower! So, this brings me to my question, if you could pick the perfect climate for yourself what would it be, and where would it be? It doesn't have to be a real place. You get to pick the location and temperature and make it the ideal place for you. I'm just curious.

Well, gotta get going for now because it's probably going to take me several minutes to put in any missing letters. Later.

I love country and I like that Billy gillman song. Also Garth Brooks Unanswered Prayers, River, and The Dance. Bruce Springsteen's Devil's and Dust is my new favorite song although it is not country. Have you heard Whisky Lullaby? I know I spelled that wrong. I think it is allison craus and some guy. I like sad songs. I like jewell. On her album, Spirit, there is a song I think is called Hands or something that is cool. When are you gonna burn me CDs? Just kidding.

Ideal climate between fifty and seventy in Colorado or New Mexico. Fairly dry.

I actually had that Jewel album on my drive and just found Hands. It's pretty sad that I don't even know what all I have. I got a bunch of stuff off of someone else's hard drive about a year ago, and I've been going through it to see what's all there ever since. I'll probably get a bunch more stuff from my friend when I'm on vacation too. SMILE! I have everything Garth Brooks put out; accept for his latest album and the thing he put out under a different name. I started collecting Garth back when he first came out and actually have CD duplicates of almost everything because I bought the Box set which is nothing more than a repeat of the first six? albums. I'll have to look and see if I can find some of the others you mentioned.

Garth is wonderful. I own very little music. I have his double live and sevens. I have Jewell's spirit that someone burned me.
